Low Power Consumption Means Low Operating Costs

High levels of cost-performance and energy conservation, protecting user investment over the product lifecycle...

An energy-saving air conditioner is attractive from the standpoint of an owner, since it translates into lower monthly electricity bills. It's attractive from the standpoint of society, as well. When used on a mass scale, it translates into energy conservation and less harmful impact on the planet.

 Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) Control

PAM controls the form of the current wave so that it conforms to the supply voltage wave, thereby reducing loss of current and making more efficient use of supplied electricity. With PAM, 98% of the input power supply is effectively used.

Power Receiver and Twin LEV Control

The introduction of a power receiver and twin LEV (linear expansion valve) control optimizes compressor performance. The technology is tailored to the properties of a new refrigerant and provides precise management in response to operating waveform and outdoor temperature, thereby enhancing operating efficiency.

 Power Inverter 3-phase Power Supply

The three-phase power supply inverter results in a drastic reduction in electrical current required to operate outdoor units. This special technology brings our systems into compliance with European Electro Magnetic Compatibility standards.

 Highly Reliable Flat Fin

An original fin design prevents obstruction of the airflow passage. In addition to ensuring a longer service life, it reduces air resistance and increases energy efficiency.

 Intelligent Power Module (IPM)

Mitsubishi Electric’s Intelligent Power Modules (IPM) make air conditioner inverters smaller and more energy-efficient. They use 100% lead-free soldering, too. IPMs are composite-type semiconductor devices with multiple semiconductor chips wired in a single package. These tiny devices lead to bigger power savings.
