Some of the Quietest Air Conditioners in the Industry
Reduced airflow resistance, larger airflow volumes with less energy consumption, special silencing features... |
| At Mitsubishi Electric, we believe an air conditioner should work-and work well-without being heard. That means minimizing operating noise. We're continually refining all moving components in ways that result in quieter operation, and introducing breakthroughs that are leading the entire industry forward. |

Indoor units are equipped with a multi-angled heat exchanger that has uniquely shaped fins designed to reduce airflow resistance, plus a wider fan diameter that delivers a larger airflow while operating at lower speeds. By eliminating air-resistance and motor noises, we have achieved ultra-silent operation-as low as 21dB depending on the model.

Outdoor units feature new fan blade and grille designs that contribute to less air resistance and greater noise reduction. A special industry-first low-noise mode function that automatically activates when the outdoor temperature falls cuts operating noise by as much as 3dB when in use.

| Low-noise Priority Function |
Systems configured with a timer or selection switch can utilize the Low-noise Priority Function. When switched on, the outdoor unit runs in a low-noise priority mode.

| Refrigerant Noise Reduction |
Refrigerant condensed in the outdoor unit is sub-cooled in a heat-exchange process with low-temperature refrigerant in the accumulator. This refrigerant thereby reaches the LEVs (linear expansion valves) in the optimum state even if the branch box is located far from the outdoor unit. As a result, refrigerant noise is reduced at the LEVs, distribution to each indoor unit is optimized, and pressure loss due to long piping length or large height difference is minimized.
