Set up in 1996 as a joint venture by companies from China, Japan, and Malaysia, this factory manufactures 2000cc engines. The factory’s engine machining line uses Mitsubishi Electric numerical controllers, PLCs and AC servos. The factory has production lines, including cylinder block and cylinder head lines.

While the factory also employs equipment imported from other companies offshore, Mitsubishi Electric’s automation equipment has been praised by production line managers for its stable operation, which ultimately leads to less downtime.
