of the F-function

The location of
MISTY’s F-function differs from the F-function
location applied in DES-like cryptosystems. This
revised location results in increased strength against
differential and linear cryptanalysis attacks and
enables parallel computation of the round function.
Implementation of recursive
structure
By, moreover, implementing a recursive
structure, the size of the inner F-function has been reduced
and the parallel computation of the round function across two
or more rounds has been made possible.
