| Ever since 1968 Mitsubishi Electric has been involved in the supply of international communications satellite hardware. Starting with the INTELSAT-III satellite, we have contributed to the development of INTELSAT-VII, INTELSAT-VIII and INTELSAT-IX as well. In addition, Mitsubishi Electric is participating in the development of the GLOBALSTAR satellite project and the mobile satellite communications project. These satellites carry a wide variety of devices made by Mitsubishi Electric, including solar array panels, heat pipe panels, batteries, antennas, and relay equipment -- all supported by cutting-edge technology and years of experience, providing international communications services to people throughout the world. |
