Mitsubishi Electric Corporation NEC-Mitsubishi Electric Visual Systems Corporation
Features of evolutionary models The successor to the 37-inch TV was a 42-inch CRT display released in 1992. However, this model brought to an end the production of CRT TVs larger than 37 inches. Today, TVs with screens larger than 30 inches utilize flat display device technologies such as liquid-crystal displays (LCDs) and plasma display panels (PDPs). Though the products are not large, CRT designed technologies are still utilized in high-resolution display monitors and small-screen TVs.
