*On April 1, Mitsubishi Electric's Semiconductor business was adopted by Renesas Technology Corp., a new jointly founded by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and Hitachi, Ltd.

This feature can be used in a wide range of applications including mobile devices, security system including system sensor networks, traffic flow sensors and game devices. An example of the products is Renesas Technology's 300,000-pixel (640x480) mobile camera module that is a mere 6.2mm thick.
