Mitsubishi Electric MULTI 16
[Hardware]
The model with a built-in full-scale Operating System (OS) that helped launch the ''Personal'' computer
From mail to Internet, spreadsheets to word-processing, the personal computer has become an indispensable part of modern life. But consider for a moment, it's only been this way for approximately the past 20 years. Go back a little further and the adjective ''personal'' was never even considered a part of computing. Computers were items for industrial or office use only. Then in the 1980s, a high-performance, low-cost model emerged in Japan., Called the Mitsubishi Electric MULTI 16, it was the forerunner of the ''personal'' computer. This model completely changed the contemporary perception of computers by becoming, the first full-scale 16-bit personal computer in the industry to adopt an OS.
