Filling in a blank notebook: The making of the MULTI 16
Development of the MULTI 16 actually began in 1979, by a team of seven employees recruited from throughout the company. Being the first in an industry that did not fully exist, and since their expertise and skills lie in completely different fields, naturally all the team members were inexperienced with the development and use of personal computers. Starting from scratch, everything from design plans to production organization of the computer needed to be re-thought. What lie ahead was a daunting, and exciting challenge, a challenge the engineers however took as a great opportunity to hopefully discover the very latest technology.
