Success did not come easy: The steps to reach the Top

The idea behind the moving central point was conceived in about 3 to 4 months. To bring it to the next level of integrating it into a working product was where the problems began to surface. First the sketch drawings were nearly impossible to produce. There were no 3D CAD* computer programs available back then and so the developmental plans and design sketches had to be drawn by hand.Difficult was it was to accurately draw the curve that took on a moving central point, it was also equally as hard to calculate its working formula. The team members confessed that their brains felt all twisted up at the time. It took a considerable amount of perseverance to draw a representational development plan and sketch. But after a successful version was conceived , a miniature model was built. After a life-size model was developed and through continuous trial and error at every stage, the ''delicate curve'' was produced and ready for unveiling.
