SUBARU

SUBARU

The SUBARU is a large-scale optical infrared telescope in Hawaii. It’s a major installation that uses a telescope with a diameter of 8.2 meters to observe celestial objects up to 15 billion light years away.

SUBARU is supported and precisely controlled by 261 actuators. The high level of technology required to make the SUBARU a magnificent scientific instrument is being integrated into Mitsubishi Electric’s DLP displays and other products.
