Contest begins 14:00 Japan Standard
Time 13 July 2004 and ends 13:59 Japan Standard Time 3 August 2004. To enter, visit

anytime during the contest period. Entrants must answer
the question correctly and complete entry instructions,
including your name, country of residence, address, telephone
number, age and e-mail address information onto an online
form for a chance to win a prize. The online registration
page must be completely filled out and submitted before
13:59 Japan Standard Time on the last day of the contest
period to be eligible for the prize. |

All entry must be faxed and received by 3 August. |

| Winner
selection/Prize Notification: |
|
| Winners will be selected in a random
drawing from among all eligible entries received for that
period. Winners will be sent prize by mail within 15 days
of the drawing. Should a winner decide to decline the
prize for any reason whatsoever, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
shall have no further obligation to that potential winner
and an alternate winner will be selected. The contest
management office reserves the right not to answer questions
on winner selection. THE PRIZE WILL BE FORFEITED AND AN
ALTERNATE POTENTIAL WINNER SELECTED IF ADDRESS OR OTHER
CONTACT DETAILS ENTERED IS MISSPELLED AND DOES NOT REACH
POTENTIAL WINNER. It is the sole responsibility of the
entrant to notify Mitsubishi Electric Corporation if he/she
changes his/her e-mail address, mail address or other
contact details during anytime after entering the contest
to the date of selecting winners. |

| Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible
or incomplete entries, or for technical, hardware or software
failures of any kind, for lost or unavailable network
connections, or for failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed
computer transmissions or any human error, which may occur
in the receipt or processing of the entries. All entries
become the property of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
and will not be returned. Automated entries, which include
but is not limited to use of any robot, script, or other
automated services, are not permitted and will be disqualified.
Only one entry per person. The submission of an entry
is solely the responsibility of the entrant. This contest
is subject to all applicable laws of Japan. |

| Prize/Odds
of Winning: |
|
| Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
is giving away 100 ORIGINAL KANJI T-SHIRT (Suggested retail
price in Japan: 3,000 Yen or approximately 27.6 US dollars).
Total value of prizes: 300,000 Yen or 2,760 US dollars.
Odd of winning a prize is dependent on the total number
of eligible entries received. Winners acknowledge that
Mitsubishi Electric is in no manner responsible or liable
for any warranty, representation, guarantee related to
the prize that may be included in any express warranty
or product warranty or guarantee that the prize sales
supplier or delivery service may have for the prize. Any
applicable tax or fees on the prize is the sole responsibility
of the winner. No substitution, barter, transfer, or assignment
of any prize permitted, except by Mitsubishi Electric
Corporation at its discretion. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
reserves the right to cease to provide a prize if prize
becomes unavailable for any reason. All other costs associated
with the prize not stated herein as being awarded are
the responsibility of the winner. |

| Entries of employees of Mitsubishi
Electric Corporation, its subsidiaries, divisions, related
companies, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies
and each of their affiliates, representatives, agents,
successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors,
and members of their immediate families or of the same
household are restricted. No purchase is necessary. This
contest is not valid in all countries/areas/locations
where contest/sweepstake/give-away are prohibited by law.
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation reserves the right to
verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. Japanese
law governs this contest. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation
is not required to enter into correspondence by e-mail
with any entrant regarding entry status. By entering,
entrants agree to be bound by these official rules. |

entering, entrants: |

(1) agree to release and hold harmless
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and their respective parent
companies, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising
and promotion agencies, and each of their officers, agents,
shareholders, directors and employees from and against
any and all liability, claims, losses, costs, expense
and damage of any kind, including, without limitation,
resulting from participation in this contest or from acceptance
and use of prize awarded (2) agree to be bound by these
rules; and (3) if selected as a winner, consent to the
use of his/her name for presenting and posting on the
global website of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.
If for any reason this contest is not capable of running
as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures,
or any other causes beyond the control of Mitsubishi Electric
Corporation which corrupt or affect the administration,
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the
contest, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation reserves the
right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual
who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the contest, and to select the winner
from all eligible entries received prior to such cancellation
or termination. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is not
responsible for any problems or technical malfunction
of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer
online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment,
software, failure of any email or entry to be received
by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation on account of technical
problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet
or at any website, or any combination thereof, including
any injury or damages to entrant's or any other person's
computer or other property relating to or resulting from
participation in the contest or downloading any materials
in the contest. |
