What NAYUTA can see Viewing h the heavens

One of the main things that make NAYUTA so unique is the visual observation apparatus used through the Nasmyth focus. In fact, the attachment of such an apparatus on a telescope with a primary mirror as large as two meters in diameter is unprecedented both in Japan and throughout the world.

The apparatus has a light-gathering power approximately 80,000 times greater and a light-resolving power 100 times greater than the human eye. It compares with an ability to distinguish ping pong balls ten kilometers away!

This spectacular achievement is certainly one of the most fascinating things about NAYUTA, which brings the dazzling world of the stars into view like never before.
