What NAYUTA can see Viewing moving images

Until recently astronomical observations were mainly captured in the form of still pictures. Photographed images of celestial objects are familiar sights. NAYUTA, however, can capture moving images in addition to conventional still pictures -- an achievement made possible through the combination of NAYUTA's strong light-gathering power and a high-sensitivity color camera.

Mounting a high-sensitivity high-vision camera to the Nasmyth focus enabled NAYUTA to capture high-resolution moving images of the stars for the first time.
